Why buy a mechanical Russian watch?

Luch watches are made in the Minsk Watch Plant in Belarus. (Here's another MWP link). They don't seem to be exported much. I have seen only one of their watches for sale - it looks like the Raketa perpetual calendar watch, but with its guts ripped out and replaced with a quartz movement. Russiansouvenirs sells it.

Have you ever seen such an unusual watch? Please buy one! Luch sound like they could do with a heap more sales. (And if you've got a few million dollars, please invest in the company!)
To be blunt, I'm not interested in most of their watches. Many are quartz, and those that aren't are not very interesting. But that perpetual calendar - very distinctive!
