Melanie Alexander, Jacqui Cowell, Siobhann Heidenreich and Lorinda Noble - together with Robyn Loau, they were the wildly popular Australian group Girlfriend.
Upon Robyn's departure from the band, Melanie, Jacqui, Siobhann and Lorinda continued on as gf4
They produced two CD singles, Sooner or Later, and Need Love (to make the sex right).
After gf4, Melanie worked for a time at Foxtel hosting a children's show called Klubhouse. She now presents segments on Channel 10's 'Bright Ideas'.
Lorinda apparently travels to Japan regularly on singing contracts. But apart from that I'm not sure what they're doing these days.
There doesn't seem to be a lot of info out there about gf4 and Girlfriend, which is terrible for a group who were as wildly popular as they were, and who were at the cutting edge of multimedia audio CD technology. These few little pages are my attempt to help rectify that.
